Britain’s Got Talent act Aleksandar Mileusnic previously appeared on The Voice UK live shows.

At this year’s auditions, we met 23-year-old council worker and singer Aleksandar from Stevenage.

The nervous performer introduced himself to the judges, saying he’d been singing since 17.

“When I was 18 I did a few things, I gave it a try but it’s hard,” he said, seemingly alluding to his time on The Voice.

Aleksandar took part in the singing show in 2012 under the name Aleks Josh when it was on BBC One.

He made it as far as the live stages of the competition, coached by The Script’s Danny O’Donoghue.

Six years on, Aleks appeared on Britain’s Got Talent this evening as Aleksandar.

Aleksandar told the cameras: “I’m extremely nervous because it has been a while since I’ve done anything on this level.

“I know I appear to be pretty laid back but inside butterflies… no, not even butterflies, elephants are stampeding everywhere.”

Appearing on the show with his pregnant partner, Aleksandar added: “Finding out we were expecting was a massive blessing. I hope to do alright because I think it will help a lot towards our family.

“I want to give my new family the best life I can give them. I want to make them proud”

He went on to sing a swing version of ‘Seven Nation Army’ by The White Stripes.

Other acts in Aleks’ audition episode included exam invigilator Noel James who performed a stand-up routine.

Donchez Dacres took to the stage with his original song ‘Wiggle Wine’, 90-year-old Audrey Leybourne sang a ‘I Want To Be Loved By You’ accompanied by piano and The D-Day Darlings performed ‘We’ll Meet Again’ by Vera Lynn.
