Britain’s Got Talent 2019: Giorgia Borg is the new favourite to win

Latest Britain's Got Talent 2019 odds

Giorgia Borg has become the new favourite to win Britain’s Got Talent 2019.

The fourth round of auditions for this year’s series took place on Saturday.

Another set of acts showcased their talents for judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and David Walliams.

Singer Giorgia has become the new 6-1 clear favourite to win Britain’s Got Talent with bookmakers Star Sports, after her stunning performance wowed the audience and judges, and prompted Alesha Dixon to award her the Golden Buzzer, sending her straight through to the live shows.

The 10 year old Maltese sensation singing her own composition, called ’10’ has dethroned the long time market leaders, Flakefleet Primary School Choir, who have been the front runners since the first show.

Alesha told the young singer: “You’re not even real.

“It takes a lot to really, really move me. You floored me. You absolutely floored me. Your vocal capability, your lyrical capability…. You are ten years old. You are a star. You have the best personality as well. I love everything about you, congratulations.”

“I just knew when I woke up this morning this was going to be a great day. It was amazing.” added Simon Cowell.

“We have seen a number of good acts in recent weeks but none so far have had the reaction that Giorgia got tonight, it’s hard to see anyone ousting her from the top spot,” said Star spokesman, Gary Burton.

Meanwhile, Star are also offering odds on what the winning act will be and make it Evs a singer, 4-1 comedian, 9-2 dancer and 8-1 acrobat.

A Golden Buzzer Act to win outright is 2-1.
