Amanda Holden ‘becomes highest earning female TV star with £5m fortune’

Amanda Holden has reportedly overtaken Holly Willoughby as the UK’s top earning female TV star.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge is said to be earning an estimated £5 million a year thanks to a string of projects.

Alongside her work on BGT, which this year will air two series, she’s also host of Heart Radio breakfast and has her own album in the works.

Amanda had also landed a string of endorsement deals worth an estimated six-figures.

“Amanda’s earning potential has gone through the roof the last few years. She’s raking it in from various angles and is sitting very pretty right now,” a source told The Sun newspaper. “Amanda has now overtaken other female TV stars including Holly Willoughby and the likes of Claudia Winkleman.

“She’s hot property and ITV’s golden girl.”

The news follows Amanda signing a record deal worth a reported £1 million.

Amanda, who has appeared in London’s West End in musicals such as Thoroughly Modern Millie, confirmed the news on her social media earlier this year.

She shared a picture of herself signing a contract with Virgin EMI Records.

Amanda wrote: “Bloody thrilled to confirm I have signed an amazing record deal with @VIRGINEMI -It has been a lifetimes dream!!!!! Just cannot wait to get started ….”

Amanda’s deal follows a video of her singing The Greatest Showman song Tightrope notching up 1.5 million hits online.

The clip was posted to celebrate her tenth wedding anniversary with her husband and featured the couple’s two daughters.

Meanwhile, Amanda will be back on screen soon when Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions begins.

The new all-star series will air later this month on ITV.

Amanda will be back behind the judges’ desk with Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams, while Ant and Dec host.

Acts from the past 13 series of BGT, plus from Got Talent shows across the world, will compete head to head to be crowned ultimate champion.
