Ant and Dec won big once again at the National Television Awards last night.
And in accepting their 17th consecutive Best Presenter Award, Ant expressed his gratitude after a “tough 12 months”.
Ant told the crowd: “Thank you very much. I’m shaking. It’s been a very emotional night tonight.
“It’s been quite a year, and quite a tough 12 months. So this really means a lot.”
He added: “I want to thank my family and friends, a lot of you are here tonight. Let’s not cry.”

It was the pair’s third award of the night, also winning Best Entertainment Show for Saturday Night Takeaway and Best Challenge Show with I’m A Celebrity.
“It has been quite a year but this has really topped it off,” Dec said as he picked up the gong for I’m A Celeb. “Possibly this year more than ever we thank you so much from the bottom of our heart.”
Ant added: “We love making I’m A Celeb. Thank you for loving it too. We want to make it forever.
“It was genuinely brilliant to be back on screen and genuinely brilliant to be back with my best friend.”
Elsewhere at the NTAs last night, David Walliams beat Simon Cowell, Paul Hollywood and Will.i.am after a fight over who’s the best TV judge.
Voted for by the public, David took to the stage to accept the award – and slate Simon.
“All he does is judge, he can’t sing, he can’t dance, he can’t tell jokes,” David said.
He continued: “He just sits there saying no to people. We can all do that. ”
All the winners were chosen by viewers via phone and online votes.
The various categories also saw the likes of The X Factor, Strictly, The Voice and Britain’s Got Talent battle it out to be named Best Talent Show – won by Strictly.
