Have I Got News For You? 2019 line up and start time tonight (December 6) and episodes to watch online

Have I Got News For You continues its new 2019 series tonight on BBC One from 9PM.


Episode 9 (December 13) of the new series of Have I Got News For You will be hosted by Alexander Armstrong.

He guest presents the ninth episode of the 58th series with guests Nicky Morgan and Jon Richardson joining regular team captains Ian Hislop and Paul Merton.

Have I Got News For You, Series 58, returns to BBC One on Friday 13th December at 9:30pm.

Speaking ahead of the new series, Ian said: “Since we were last on, the unthinkable has happened, Boris Johnson is the prime minister and we’ve had a prime minister being told he’s acted unlawfully by the Supreme Courts.

“None of this has ever happened before, it’s been absolutely extraordinary, but with the speed of news accelerating at the speed it does, I’m expecting even more to come.”

Episode 2 (October 18) Team captains Paul Merton and Ian Hislop are joined by guest host Victoria Coren Mitchell and panellists Rachel Johnson and Ross Noble.

Episode 3 (October 25) Steph McGovern hosts with panellists Camilla Long and Miles Jupp.

Episode 4 (November 1) Guest host Jo Brand is joined by panellists Zoe Lyons and Fintan O’Toole.

Episode 5 (November 8) Adil Ray will host with guests Ivo Graham and Helen Lewis.

Due to Children In need, there was no episode on November 15.

Episode 6 (November 22) Hosted by David Mitchell with panellists Maisie Adam and Rory Stewart MP


Episode 7 (November 29) Guest host Helen McCrory is joined by panellists Andy Hamilton and Chris McCausland.

Episode 8 (December 6) Stephen Mangan hosts with guests Roisin Conaty and Brian Cox.

Episode 9 (December 13) An election special, Alexander Armstrong will present with panellists Nicky Morgan and Jon Richardson.

Episode 10 (December 20) Final episode. Guest host Charlie Brooker is joined by Emma Barnett and Phil Wang.
