Who won The Voice 2019? Final results recap as winner is revealed

The Voice 2019 winner confirmed

The winner of The Voice 2019 was crowned in this weekend’s final and here’s a recap of the results.

It was the live final of The Voice UK on April 6 as four contestants competed for victory.

And following the final result, Molly Hocking was revealed as the winner of The Voice UK 2019.

Molly was in the top two with Deana Walmsley following the first round of live performances.

The Voice UK’s live final weekend kicked off with the remaining members of Team JHud, Team Will, Team Olly and Team Tom again performing to stay in the competition and be one step closer to winning a recording contract with Polydor Records.

In The Voice UK final for Tom was Deana Walmsley, a 23-year-old from Liverpool, and Bethzienna Williams, a 28-year-old musician from Barry who won the public wild card vote.

They were joined by Team Olly’s Jimmy Balito, a 23-year-old from Sussex and Molly Hocking, an 18-year-old from St Ives in Cornwall.

Team JHud and Team Will had no acts left for the final.

All four finalists performed twice in the first half of the show, performing both a duet with their mentor and a new solo cover.

After the performances, lines briefly opened via phone and the app for viewers to support their favourite.

Host Emma Willis then announced the top two finalists in no particular order as Deana and Molly.

Therefore Team Tom’s Bethzienna and Team Olly’s Jimmy bowed out of the competition.

Deana and Molly went on to both perform live once more, reprising their favourite song of the series.

Lines then closed for good before Emma returned with the final result.

And with the most votes, it was Molly who won The Voice UK 2019.
