The Voice UK 2018 contestants: Meet the teams in the battle rounds

The Voice 2018 contestants and teams

Ahead of The Voice UK 2018 battle rounds, here are the contestants in the teams after the all of this year’s blind auditions.

The search for a new vocal superstar continued this weekend as The Voice 2018 returned to ITV for its seventh series.

Global music legends will.i.am, Jennifer Hudson, Sir Tom Jones and Olly Murs are this year’s coaches and on a quest to uncover the best vocal talent that Britain has to offer, with this year’s winner scooping a life changing record contract with Polydor Records.

As always, the first stage was the blind auditions where the contestants must hold their nerve as they sing to the backs of the coaches.

If any of them like what they hear, they bash their buzzer to spin around and select that artist for their teams of ten.

If more than one spins then it’s up the act to pick which team to join but if no coaches turn it’s the bus back home.

As with last year, acts who don’t get any judges having to leave the stage immediately without speaking to the panel, who will remain with their backs turned.

From the very first show we’ve seen the coaches using every trick, name drop and boast they could to secure the best acts for their teams.

Here’s how the teams look after the seventh and final weekend of blind auditions..

the-voice-uk-2017-set-3
If only it were that simple! After the blind auditions comes the battle rounds where each coach will halve their teams by pitting their artists against one another in a series of music duets which only one act can win.

However, each coach has a ‘steal’, allowing them to pinch an artist let go by one of their rivals for their own teams, so you can be sure the above line ups will chop and change in the near future!

The Voice UK 2018 continues Saturday nights on ITV.
