Strictly Come Dancing spoiler! Ashley Roberts and Pasha Kovalev plan Chess themed Tango
Ashley Roberts and Pasha Kovalev plan a Chess themed tango for this weekend’s show.
The pair are one of the favourite couples to win after smashing their latest routine last Saturday night.
Ashley and Pasha danced a Salsa to (I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life by Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes from Dirty Dancing.
They scored their highest marks yet – and nailed the iconic lift.
Ashley reflected: “We’re happy that we did it. We were just so happy we did. The energy in the room was ‘Yeahhh!’ I actually got emotional afterwards because I wanted to land it so bad. I was so stressed beforehand.”
“We’re flying high,” added Pasha, “She did absolutely fantastic. It felt great when we were dancing and then of course when you watch it back, you did so, so well. I know how much it meant to Ashley and me as well. You don’t want to screw this kind of lift!”
This weekend, Ashley and Pasha are dancing the Tango to ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ by Taylor Swift.
Pasha promised drama and sass from the routine, which will be themed around a game of Chess.
“I am excited. What I really enjoy about this show is that every week it’s something different. You get to dive into a new facet of your personality and Pasha has come up with a cool concept for this one.”

It Takes Two airs weeknights at 6:30PM Monday-Thursday and 6PM on Fridays.
