Is Strictly Come Dancing going to Blackpool in 2019? You bet – and here’s exactly when.

Strictly Come Dancing returns to the home of ballroom this November as BBC One’s dancing competition embarks on its annual pilgrimage to the world famous Blackpool Tower.

For one week only, Strictly packs its sparkly suitcases and relocates to Blackpool as the show is broadcast live from the world famous Blackpool Tower Ballroom.

We know the date Strictly’s Blackpool special will be taking place is Saturday, November 16.

However at the moment the start time on TV has yet to be confirmed by BBC One.

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will oversee proceedings as the seven remaining couples take to the floor.

Expect lots of magical moments as presenters Tess and Claudia are joined by the remaining celebrities and their professional partners, as well as the awesome foursome judging panel of Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood.

The main show will kick off with a grand group performance fit to fill the massive Tower ballroom, and the stakes are high as the celebrities and their professional partners are feeling the pressure as the Glitter Ball trophy is in sight and the Grand Final approaching.

In the Blackpool results show on Sunday, November 17, the Strictly professionals get together for a group dance on a grand scale and there will be an unmissable musical performance from Westlife.

Ahead of heading to Blackpool, currently a total of nine celebs are remaining in the competition.

Those still on the Strictly 2019 line up are BBC Sports presenter Mike Bushell, Corrie actress Catherine Tyldesley, Viscountess Emma Weymouth, RuPaul Drag Race judge Michelle Visage, and footballer and presenter Alex Scott.

Joining them are CBBC presenter Karim Zeroual, comedian Chris Ramsey, EastEnders’ actress Emma Barton, social media star Saffron Barker and Emmerdale actor Kelvin Fletcher.

Strictly Come Dancing’s Blackpool Special in 2019 airs on Saturday, November 16 on BBC One.
