The line up of celebrities on Strictly Come Dancing 2019 have got together for the first time.
This year’s contestants headed to London today for their very first rehearsal.
It was the first time the group met as they began to practice for the launch show, which will see them perform for the first time.
The opening episode will see a group dance from the celebs as they’re partnered up with professionals for the rest of the series.
The cast of Strictly 2019 are made up of names including TV legend Anneka Rice, social media star Saffron Barker, Corrie star Catherine Tyldesley, BBC Sports presenter Mike Bushell and CBBC presenter Karim Zeroual.
Joining them on the Strictly line up are Radio 1 DJ Dev Griffin, RuPaul Drag Race’s Michelle Visage, Paralympic champion Will Bayley, and footballer and presenter Alex Scott.
Also on the line up are England international goalkeeper David James, stand up comedian Chris Ramsey and EastEnders’ actress Emma Barton.
Completing this year’s Strictly contestants are Made In Chelsea’s Jamie Laing, Viscountess Emma Weymouth and gold medal winning Olympian James Cracknell.
They shared the above first picture from rehearsals today across their social media accounts.
Jamie wrote: “And so it begins #strictly”

Chris shared: “Sweaty mess. But this is the most fun I’ve ever had on the first day of anything! ?? @bbcstrictly”
David posted: “First time the @bbcstrictly have gotten together, lots of laughs and a taster of things to come, Strictly speaking! ”
Alex said: “That 1st day at school with my new mates?? DANCE SCHOOL!! ??”

As yet the celebs don’t know which of this year’s pros they’ll be partnered up with.
The Strictly Come Dancing 2019 professionals line up was confirmed at the start of this year.
This year’s women on the Strictly pro cast with Amy Dowden, Dianne Buswell, Katya Jones, Janette Manrara, Karen Clifton, Luba Mushtuk, Nadiya Bychkova and new pro Nancy Xu.
Alongside Neil, the male pros joining them are are Aljaž Škorjanec, Anton Du Beke, Neil Jones, Giovanni Pernice, Graziano Di Prima and Johannes Radebe.
Pasha Kovalev won’t be returning having decided to quit after 8 years.
The celebs and pros will be paired during the launch show, to air in September on BBC One.
Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will roll out the red carpet for the class of 2019 as the line up head to the Strictly ballroom for the very first time, ready to find out which professional dancer they’ll be paired with on their journey towards the famous Glitter Ball trophy.
Opening the 17th series with a bang, Queen of Pop Kylie Minogue will perform a show-stopping medley of some of her biggest hits, alongside a dazzling routine from Strictly’s professional dancers.
