Channel 4 is said to have bagged its first celebrity for an all star version of Naked Attraction.
It was reported previously that the channel was working on a Celebrity version of its hit dating show.
The one-off version is set to feature familiar faces baring all to raise money for Stand Up To Cancer.
In the daring dating show, hosted by fully clothed TV presenter Anna Richardson, singletons whittle down a group of six potential suitors, who are stood naked in a pod, one body part at a time, based on what they find least attractive.
The Sun reports that reality regular Jeremy McConnell is the first ‘celebrity’ to sign up.
The former Ex On The Beach and Celebrity Big Brother housemate has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons over the past 12 months. He recently appeared on a celebrity version of The Jeremy Kyle show after a stint in prison.
A source said: “He’s hit rock bottom and thinks that doing this show for a good cause could help turn his public profile around – even if it does mean getting naked.
“He’s not ashamed of his tackle.”
Other stars from shows including Love Island, Ex On The Beach, Towie, Made In Chelsea and Geordie Shore have been approached for the celebrity special.
However there have been claims that even the most fame hungry of reality stars aren’t up for this challenge.
A source said previously: “Producers are having a nightmare in trying to sign up the usual reality star suspects because no-one is prepared to to strip naked on telly.”
The insider explained: “Many of those who have been asked would be up for doing something with Channel 4 for charity, but they’ve drawn the line at nudity.
“Once you’ve stripped off on telly there’s no going back and it’s out there forever. Some of them have politely declined and others have just ignored producers’ messages.”
