Lucy Fallon denies rumour she’s set for I’m A Celebrity line up

Soap star Lucy Fallon has denied she’ll be taking part in I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

It had been claimed that the Coronation Street actress was set to swap the cobbles for the jungle this autumn.

A source had said to The Sun newspaper: “Lucy is bubbly, funny, down-to-earth and game for a challenge, so she is a great fit for I’m A Celebrity.”

They added: “Bosses are delighted to have her on board and are sure she will be a big hit with fans at home and her campmates.”

But Lucy took to social media to deny the claims.

“Not doing it btw” she posted to Instagram alongside a screenshot of the article.

The rumours follow hosts Ant and Dec starting work on this year’s series

Holly Willoughby stepped in to help co-host alongside Dec but this year the Geordie duo be back alongside one another in the jungle.

Ant and Dec tweeted a snap of them in a meeting for the show this week, writing: “First @imacelebrity meeting of the year…. ? ? Finding out what’s in store and this years celebs…. ”

I’m A Celebrity typically launches on ITV in November.

No names have been confirmed for the line up just yet but some rumoured celebs include a number of former Love Island stars including Olivia Attwood, Maura Higgins and Amy Hart.

Other rumoured names include Blue and Hollyoaks star Duncan James and football pundit Ian Wright, who has reportedly been offered a ‘six figure’ deal.

TV personality Ulrika Jonsson has also been rumoured for the show together with Hollyoaks star Jennifer Metcalfe and former England footballer and recent Celebrity Big Brother housemate John Barnes.
