Love Island’s Joanna wants to confront Michael over his feelings for Amber

Joanna Chimonides has revealed plans to confront Michael Griffiths over his actions on Love Island 2019.

Joanna was coupled up with Michael on the show up until a shock twist during the week.

It saw her dumped as the Islanders were forced to pick one half of the couple to stay, choosing Michael.

Not only did Michael decide not to leave with her, he’s since gone on to try and rekindle his romance with Amber Gill.

It’s left Joanna riled and wanting answers.

“I asked him quite a few times and gave him every opportunity to express himself but it was constant denial. He denied that he had any feelings for [Amber],” she said today.

In an interview with The Sun newspaper, Joanna continued: “I had a gut feeling something was still there but I never expected after just two days he would go straight back to Amber.

“I want to have a chat with him when he comes out – for me if he does go full steam ahead with Amber then it would be good to get things out of the way with him.”

Tonight will see Michael’s fate decided in the latest recoupling where the girls have the power – will Amber take him back?

Meanwhile, Joanna has revealed that there was more than relationship drama in the villa.

She claimed: “We had some weird stuff happen in the villa while I was there. We think the place is haunted.”

Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper about her supernatural experiences, Joanna shared: “One time, Jourdan was convinced she had seen a ghost. She said she had been woken up suddenly and there was this blonde woman bent over her bed and rocking back and forwards. She said it looked like Belle [Hassan] but of course it wasn’t her.”

She elaborated: “I said to her, ‘Did you actually see a ghost?’ and she was totally convinced. It freaked us all out.”

Love Island 2019 continues nightly at 9PM on ITV2.

The current fifth series concludes on Monday, July 29.
