Who left Love Island 2019 last night? Recap yesterday’s (June 24) results as one girl was eliminated.
Moday evening’s episode saw the results of the latest recoupling as one contestant was sent home.
The boys had the power after a text arrived in the villa to surprise the group.
The message sent to the villa explained: “Islanders. Tonight, there will be a recoupling. The boys will choose, and the girl not picked to be in a couple will be dumped from the Island. #ByeFelicia #GirlCrushed”
Here’s how the this week’s latest recoupling went…
Love Island 2019 recoupling results
Curtis Pritchard and Amy Hart (continuing couple).
Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury (continuing couple).
Michael Griffiths and Amber Gill (continuing couple).
Tom Walker and Maura Higgins (new couple).
Jordan Hames and Anna Vakili (new couple).
Anton Danyluk and Lucie Donlan (Anton was single after Elma’s elimination and Lucie was single after Joe’s elimination).
Danny Williams and Arabella Chi (Danny was originally coupled up with Yewande and newbie Arabella was single).
Therefore Yewande Biala was left single and as a result she was kicked out of the from the villa.
It all came down to Danny to make the decision between Arabella and Yewande, with the one girl he didn’t choose going home.
Aware of the importance of his choice, Danny admitted to cameras before the recoupling: “I’m confused. I’m not fully sure what I need to do. Someone has to leave tonight. At the very least I have to disappoint one girl because they both want me to couple up with them.
“If I pick Yewande and it goes back to how it is then I’ve only got myself to blame. I could be missing out something quite special with Arabella.”
At the recoupling, Danny said: “I want to couple up with this girl because she’s very intelligent. I think we’ve connected on an intellectual level which is very important. And she’s obviously very stunning. This hasn’t been an easy decision in the slightest… the girl I want to couple up with is Arabella.”
After leaving the villa, Yewande reacted to her exit: “It was a rollercoaster of emotions, up and down. I learnt so much about myself. I made amazing friends and I wouldn’t change anything.
“The biggest thing I learnt about myself was that I can open up romantically and I can show a little bit of affection, which is something I struggled with in the past.”
Love Island 2019 continues nightly at 9PM on ITV.
