ITV gameshow Tenable returns with ‘All Stars’ celebrity specials

Olympians and ex-I'm A Celebrity campmates will face the top ten lists

ITV daytime hit Tenable is becoming the latest gameshow to launch spin-off celebrity specials.

Hosted by Warwick Davis, Tenable sees teams of five compete to win a huge £125,000 jackpot by filling in top ten lists.

Each contestant plays their own round, providing answers they think will fit their particular category.

They must get at least five answers correct to start earning cash – but if they get too many wrong, they’re eliminated from the game.

During the team captain’s turn, they can either bank more money, or choose to bring back teammates they’ve lost.

In the final round, the team must collectively provide all ten answers to win their prize pot.

Launched in 2016, Tenable has now become a firm favourite in ITV’s weekday schedule, sitting alongside fellow quizzes Tipping Point and The Chase.

Now the show is going primetime after bosses ordered a celebrity spin-off, named ‘Tenable All Stars’.

Each of the special episodes sees five famous faces join forces to try and win money for their chosen charities.

The first instalment features the ‘Medal Heads’, a group of Team GB Olympians.

Tessa Sanderson, Sharron Davies, Iwan Thomas, Kriss Akabusi and Jade Johnson will all try their very best to top the Tenable tower.

Warwick told the TV Times: “A celebrity version is something I’ve thought about since we started, but I didn’t realise how well it would work out.

“It adds a new layer to watching it because you kind of know the people playing.

“I was surprised by some of the answers we ended up getting – it was quite a revelation.”

The actor also teased that Tenable All Stars will feature its own theme tune – complete with lyrics.

A future episode will see five former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! contestants play the game.

Tenable All Stars begins this Sunday (5th May) at 7.00pm on ITV.
