I’m A Celebrity spin-off gets revamped as three presenters leave

I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’s spin-off show Extra Camp is set for a major revamp this year.

The ITV2 show is set for another refresh, just 12 months after last series’ big changes.

2016 saw long-term host Laura Whitmore depart and the name changed from Get Me Out Of Here Now! to Extra Camp.

Chris Ramsey, Vicky Pattison, Joe Swash and Stacey Solomon all joined as hosts in place of Laura.

But now The Sun newspaper says that neither Chris, Vicky nor Stacey will be back this year.

A decision on whether or not Joe will stay on has reportedly yet to be made.

“Bosses love the Extra Camp format and think it’s a great part of the whole I’m A Celebrity package, but they felt it could do with a shake-up,” a source explained. “Obviously Ant and Dec are always going to be the hosts of the main show, but producers have tended to tinker around with Extra Camp, changing hosts, tweaking the format and even changing the name.

“Unfortunately Chris is going to be one of those to face the axe, along with Vicky, but bosses very much enjoyed working with him.”

An insider added tonight: “Joe may still have a role but that hasn’t been decided, but everyone involved will miss working with Stacey, and Joe if he leaves, because they’re great fun.”

A rep for Chris told the tabloid that he would be working on a new project for Comedy Central this autumn.

They added: “He loves the show so will definitely make time to catch up and knows the new team will have a brilliant time like he did.”

Rumour has it that reigning jungle queen Scarlett Moffatt could be joining show to take over, although this has not yet been confirmed.

Earlier this year, Vicky spoke out about rumours concerning her exit from the show.

“If I’m not right for a job or the producers decide to replace me, I would take it on the chin,” Vicky explained. “I know I’m relatively new to this industry but I do know that’s the future of the game.

“However, there have been no decisions made about Extra Camp, none at all, and that’s a quote that’s gone on record from both my management and everyone at ITV.”

I’m A Celebrity is expected to return to ITV in November time.
