I’m A Celebrity reveals biggest EVER trials involving 160,000 bugs and over 50 snakes

I’m A Celebrity bosses have planned the biggest EVER trial for this year’s series.

More than 160,000 bugs will be involved in the challenge, which will see ALL of the celebs competing.

And another shocking task lined up – this time for just the one unlucky celeb – will see more than 50 snakes.

Matt ‘Wilko’ Wilkinson, the man in charge of overseeing all the trials this year, spilled the details ahead of the launch.

“We have got the biggest trial ever full stop. I can say that all the contestants will be present but not in one capacity,” Matt said. “It is the biggest thing we have ever constructed.

“There is going to be a trial with the most ever bugs in it. We have got 160,000 bugs in one trial.”

He continued: “We have also got the trial with the most snakes ever, over 50 and it is a one person trial.”

And if that wasn’t enough, Matt added to The Sun newspaper: “We have the biggest underwater trial with the biggest ever underwater construction. It is very impressive.”

I’m A Celebrity 2018 starts on Sunday, November 18 at 9PM.

The I’m A Celebrity line up this year includes EastEnders actress Rita Simons, TV presenter Nick Knowles, The Inbetweeners star Emily Atack, X Factor’s Fleur East and actor John Barrowman.

Joining them are The Vamps singer James McVey, The Chase’s ‘The Governess’ Anne Hegerty, Football manager Harry Redknapp, Coronation Street’s Sair Khan and Hollyoaks actor Malique Thompson-Dwyer.

Further names are expected to join the camp shortly after launch with TV host Noel Edmonds tipped to be the star signing.

Holly Willoughby will co host the new series alongside Dec as Ant takes a year out. Alongside the main show, Scarlett Moffatt, Joel Dommett and Joe Swash will host spin-off Extra Camp live nightly on ITV2. The series runs for three weeks.
