I’m A Celebrity 2018 fees ‘revealed’
Completing the cast and joining camp shortly after launch was TV host Noel Edmonds. It’s claimed he was paid £600,000 to take part, while Harry Redknapp is rumoured to be getting £500,000.
They’re the two highest paid celebs with John Barrowman and Nick Knowles commanding the next biggest fees, reportedly both taking home around £200,000.
Rita Simons is said to have got £80,000 to £100,000 while the likes of Anne Hegerty, Emily Atack, Fleur East, Sair Khan and James McVey are claimed to have each been paid anywhere between £40,000 to £60,000.
According to The Sun newspaper, Malique Thompson-Dwyer is the lowest paid of the cast, apparently taking home in the region of £15,000 for his stay in camp.
Sources say that the line up is the most expensive cast to date.
“Harry and Noel are over £1 million between the two of them, and they’ve spent good money on the likes of Nick Knowles and Rita Simons too,” a source told The Sun newspaper. “The bookers have been earning and spending their cash well this year.”
Of course, the celebs all stand to earn lots more after the show thanks to the profile boost appearing can bring.
Over 13 million viewers have been watching the current series nightly, the biggest audience in years.
The all star line up will reunite on Sunday for the final as Holly Willoughby and Declan Donnelly crown in this year’s winner in the final on December 9.
I’m A Celebrity 2018 airs at 9PM on ITV nightly. After the main show, Scarlett Moffatt, Joel Dommett and Joe Swash will host spin-off Extra Camp.
