How I Met Your Father season 2 is coming to the UK on Disney+!

The new series is a stand-alone spin-off to American sitcom How I Met Your Mother which ended its run of nine seasons in 2014.

Following the first season’s debut last year, a second season is on its way.

How I Met Your Father’s second season will premiere in the UK on Disney+ on Wednesday, 19 April 2023 with eleven episodes available to steam.

The cast features Hilary Duff, Chris Lowell, Francia Raisa, Kim Cattrall, Tom Ainsley, Suraj Sharma and Tien Tran.

A teaser shares: “In the near future, Sophie continues to tell her son the story of how she met his father, in the process transporting us back to the present for Season 2.

“Follow along as Sophie and her close-knit group of friends keep trying to figure out who they are, what they want out of life, and how to fall in love in the age of dating apps and limitless options.”

More shows coming to Disney+ in April include season 2 of Single Drunk Female (12 April), Will Trent (26 April), new episodes of Grown-Ish Season 5 (5 April) and seasons 1-8 of Home Improvements (19 April).

Plus, new film Peter Pan & Wendy will premiere on 28 April.
