Here’s a spoiler filled preview of tonight’s Great British Bake Off 20167final.
Twelve bakers started; now just three remain. But only one can be crowned winner of The Great British Bake Off 2017.
It’s the end of the first ever Channel 4 series and tonight the winner will be revealed after eleven weeks.
Sophie, Steven and Kate are all in the running to be crowned The Great British Bake Off 2017 winner this evening.
The trio will have to impress judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith to win the title with a special theme for the final.
The final sees Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith set three challenges that will test every aspect of the bakers’ skills.
In the last signature challenge, the bakers return to bread, and the tricky task of a batch of loaves.
In the technical challenge, Prue has made a simple biscuit bake very tough. There can be no room for nerves or trembling hands.
On the final day, the finalists have one last challenge: a delicate, multi-layered, high-end patisserie showstopper that could win them the title.
And in Bake Off tradition, the past bakers return and the family and friends of the finalists join the tent for the final challenge of the series.
As the bakers’ families gather outside the tent, the finalists work non-stop on their fantastic creations before Paul and Prue give them all a thorough tasting.
Then the winner of The Great British Bake Off is revealed by Paul and Mary in front of their friends, family and fellow bakers.
The Great British Bake Off 2017 final airs tonight, Tuesday at 8PM on Channel 4.
