Celebrity Gogglebox back for Stand Up To Cancer 2019 line up of celebrities

The line up of celebrities on the new Celebrity Gogglebox special for Stand Up To Cancer have been announced.

The Bafta award winning Gogglebox will return once again with a Stand Up To Cancer celebrity special tonight (October 25).

The League of Gentleman and Inside No. 9 co-creators and stars Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith will be sharing the Gogglebox sofa together as part of Channel 4 and Cancer Research UK’s Stand Up To Cancer campaign on Friday 25th October.

Joining them will be Jack Whitehall and his parents Michael and Hilary, as well as Yungblud and Jack Saunders.

Plus, returning from the recent Celebrity Gogglebox series: Nick Grimshaw and his niece Liv., Denise Van Outen and partner Eddie Boxshall, and dad and & duo Martin and Roman Kemp.

Just like the usual series, the special Celebirty edition of the TV review programme will see the famous faces pass judgement on a vast array on TV goodness.

Between their own cutting remarks, tears and laughter will be the views of Britain’s favourite opinionated viewers; the genuine Gogglebox households including best friends Jenny and Lee, Blackpool brother and sister Pete and Sophie, and the Siddiquis.

Steve Pemberton & Reece Shearmith said, “We are big Gogglebox fans and couldn’t be more chuffed to be on the sofa together.

“We have slightly questionable telly tastes but as it’s for an amazing cause like Stand Up To Cancer, hopefully the viewers will let it slide. Cancer affects way too many of us and we need to pull together and put a stop to it.”

In recent years the show has seen an amazing variety of celebrities share a sofa all in the name of charity; from Naomi Campbell and Noel Gallagher, Jamie Dornan and Nick Frost to One Direction’s Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson, Danny and Dani Dyer, England footballers Dele Alli and Eric Dier, Steve Coogan and Anna Friel and pop stars Olly Murs and Niall Horan.

The special programming is all in support of Stand Up To Cancer which has raised over £62 million to date for Cancer Research UK.

Celebrity Gogglebox for Stand Up To Cancer will air on Channel 4, Friday October 25 at 9PM.
