Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 5 release date on Netflix UK revealed

Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 5 available date Netflix UK - but what about season 6?

Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 5’s release date on Netflix UK has been announced.

The hit US comedy has seen some changes in the states, where it’s moved from FOX to NBC after five seasons.

Here in the UK, Netflix has confirmed that Season 5 is finally heading our way.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s release date has been confirmed for March 8 on Netflix in the UK.

As for the new sixth season, it’s yet to be announced when we can expect that on UK telly or streaming.

As well as airing on Netflix, the show also airs on E4. Neither has confirmed if or when Season 6 of Brooklyn Nine-Nine will air.

The new season made its debut on NBC in America this week.

Show star Andy Samberg said that viewers could expect some differences from the new episodes on its new home.

“We’ve got a couple of bleeps already going, and I gotta tell you… it feels real good,” he told E! News.

Co-star Terry Crews added: “I had one where I’m ashamed. I’m actually very ashamed… God, it was so jarring. Everyone from behind, they were like, we actually… everybody had to regroup… for five minutes.

“I was like, ‘Oh my god!’ I was like, ‘Yo yo yo, everybody okay? Everybody all right?’ We had to check with everybody to make sure, but it was hilarious.”

Although NBC has saved the show from the axe for now, its long term future remains uncertain.

Showrunner Dan Goor said last year: “Right now, NBC doesn’t know whether or not there will be another season. We’re so excited to do season six and I think if we get the call to do season seven, we’ll be so excited.

“Right now, we’re just putting our heads down, concentrating on this season and trying to make it the best season we’ve done yet.”

Meanwhile, Season 6 will see the show say goodbye to Gina Linetti, played by Chelsea Peretti.

Dan said: “When I talked with Chelsea about it, her request was that the scales be tipped in favour of it being funny over super-emotional.

“Chelsea is one of the funniest human beings in the world and really values comedy, and so that’s what we’ve really tried to do.”
