X Factor stars Jake Quickenden and Marcus Collins join cast of Hair UK tour

X Factor stars Jake Quickenden and Marcus Collins will share the stage in a new tour of musical Hair.

Celebrating the show’s 50th Anniversary, Hair will be touring the UK throughout 2019.

The award-winning rock musical has proved a hit across the world for five decades, sharing a tale of a hippie ‘tribe’ in New York fighting against authority and hoping to change the world.

It features songs “Aquarius” and “Let the Sun Shine In” while the new UK tour boasts an all star cast.

X Factor and Dancing on Ice star Jake Quickenden is Berger while X Factor finalist Marcus Collins stars as Hud.

They’re joined by Hollyoaks actress Daisy Wood-Davis as Sheila.

Jake said on Instagram during the opening week: “Having the time of my life on @hair50uk surrounded by the most talented people, out my comfort zone ( not being in my undies ) just doing theatre ?… come see the show we start this week in Wimbledon and then travel the UK, support is always appreciated ❤️❤️”
