Meanwhile, official voting via landlines, mobile or for free via the app is now open and will close in Sunday night’s (November 11) show.

There, the three bottom acts will be revealed of which two will head home. The contestant with the fewest votes will be immediately eliminated, leaving the remaining pair to fight it out in the sing-off.

In tonight’s show, the Overs kicked things off with Giovanni Spano singing The Greatest Show from The Greatest Showman before Dalton Harris performed California Dreaming from San Andreas.

Scarlett Lee took on I’ll Never Love Again from A Star Is Born while Brendan Murray performed Everybody Hurts from Bewitched and Acacia and Aaliyah sang Survivor from Tomb Raider

Bella Penfold belted out A Million Dreams from The Greatest Showman, Misunderstood put their unique twist on Maniac from Flashdance and Danny Tetley went with a classic as he performed My Heart Will Go On from Titanic.

Anthony Russell chose Eye Of The Tiger from Rocky as his Movie song leaving Shan Ako to close the show with Never Enough from The Greatest Showman

Ahead of the live show, Danny and Gio were ranked as the acts most at risk but will their performances save them from the danger zone?

The X Factor 2018 live shows return Sunday at 8:30PM on ITV with the latest results, featuring guest appearances from Olly Murs and Michael Buble.
