The celebrity contestants on the Strictly Come Dancing 2019 line up have been confirmed – here’s who’s on the show this year!
Strictly will return to BBC One on September 21 for the first live show of 2019.
Ahead of the series, the BBC has unveiled new names daily for the confirmed line up.
The first were announced on The One Show while further announcements followed on Heart FM, This Morning, BBC Breakfast, TalkRadio, Lorraine and Loose Women.
Here’s a run down of the FULL confirmed Strictly Come Dancing 2019 line up of celebrities and their pro partners…
Who’s on Strictly Come Dancing? Line up revealed!
David James – 49 – Former England Goalkeeper. Partnered with Nadiya Bychkova.
Chris Ramsey – 33 – Stand up comedian and TV presenter. Partnered with Karen Hauer.
Emma Barton – 42 – EastEnders Actress. Partnered with Anton du Beke.
Saffron Barker – 19 – Social Media star and YouTuber. Partnered with AJ Pritchard.
Catherine Tyldesley – 35 – Former Coronation Street Actress. Partnered with Johannes Radebe.
Mike Bushell – 53 – BBC Sports presenter. Partnered with Katya Jones.
Karim Zeroual – 25 – CBBC presenter. Partnered with Amy Dowden.
Viscountess Emma Weymouth – 33 – Businesswoman, chef, model and philanthropist. Partnered with Aljaž Škorjanec.
Michelle Visage – 50 – American singer, television host, radio DJ, and media personality and Drag Race star. Partnered with Giovanni Pernice.
Will Bayley MBE – 31 – World Table Tennis Paralympic champion. Partnered with Janette Manrara.
Alex Scott MBE – 34 – Sports pundit, presenter and former professional footballer. Partnered with Neil Jones.
Dev Griffin – 34 – Radio 1 DJ. Partnered with Dianne Buswell.
James Cracknell OBE – 47 – Double Olympic Gold Medallist rower. Partnered with Luba Mushtuk.
Anneka Rice – 60 – TV legend. Partnered with Kevin Clifton.
Kelvin Fletcher – 35 – Emmerdale actor*. Partnered with Oti Mabuse.
*WITHDRAWN: Jamie Laing – 30 – Made In Chelsea star, television personality and businessman. Jamie had to leave the show after suffering an injury filming the launch show and was replaced by Kelvin.
Further pro dancers not with a celebrity partner this year are Gorka Marquez, Graziano Di Prima and new pro Nancy Xu.
Strictly Come Dancing’s live shows begin on Saturday, September 21 at 7PM on BBC One.
The 15 couples will take to the Strictly ballroom to perform live in front of our fabulous four judges: Head Judge Shirley Ballas, Bruno Tonioli, Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mobuse.
The judges will score each couple for the first time, but luckily there will be no farewells this week. Instead their scores will be carried over to next weekend, when the viewers get the chance to vote for their favourite couple.
