Who is Sausage on The Masked Singer?

In the final, Sausage was crowned the WINNER and was unmasked as singer-songwriter Joss Stone.

Sausage offered various clues to their identity in her appearances, with links to the beach and the coast (Joss was born in Dover). Sausage has also been the guest at a royal wedding.

Sausage said she “might look a bit of a tomboy but I really am a girlie girl”, adding: “My performances are something of a balancing act”. In the final, Sausage has won an award that sounds like a ‘Hammy’.

In week two, Sausage offered up two lies and one truth: “My hair colour is officially certified by law”, “Someone once said I look like a popstar, I sound like a popstar and I am a popstar”, “I owe my career to a horse”.

None of the panel correctly guessed Sausage’s identity but fans of the show were quick to guess Joss Stone could be behind the mask, pointing out she attended Prince Harry to Meghan Markle’s wedding.

Sheridan Smith and Stacey Solomon also proved popular guesses throughout the series.

The Masked Singer UK airs on ITV.

More acts on the series this year are Harlequin, Alien, Seahorse, Robin, Dragon, Grandfather Clock, Swan, Viking, Bush Baby, Badger and Blob.
