Who Do You Think You Are? line up of celebs and how to watch online

The celebrity line up for Who Do You Think You Are? in 2019 has been revealed – here’s all you need to know.

The genealogy show returns for a sixteenth series this summer on BBC One with a brand new star studded line-up from the worlds of TV, sport, music, comedy and dance.

In each episode, a celebrity traces their family tree and a host of names have signed up to explore their ancestry in 2019.

Those taking part this year include Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet, Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe, music manager and former X Factor judge Sharon Osbourne, James Bond actress Naomie Harris and reality star turned TV presenter Mark Wright.

Also signed up are comedians Katherine Ryan and Paul Merton, regular team captain on Have I Got News For You.

Plus, in a first for the show, Jack Whitehall and his dad Michael Whitehall will take part together in a joint episode.

Across the new series, one celebrity is shocked to find about an ancestor who was burned at the stake while another discovers a musical assault involving a banjo.

The stars travel the world from Sweden to Spain, Jamaica to the United States to trace their family tree.

Who Do You Think You Are? air date and schedule

Who Do You Think You Are?s latest series aired on BBC One over eight episodes.

Actor Daniel Radcliffe starred in the first episode of the new series on Monday, July 22.

Episode 2 on July 29 featured actress Naomie Harris.

Episode 3 on August 5 featured Jack and Michael Whitehall.

Episode 4 on August 12 follows Kate Winslet.

Episode 5 on August 19 will follow Katherine Ryan.

Episode 6 on August 26 featured Paul Merton.

Episode 7 on September 4 featured Sharon Osbourne

The final episode on September 11 featured Mark Wright.
