The Apprentice 2019 is set to return to BBC One for its fifteenth series.
Filming for the BBC One reality series took place earlier this year, but when does it start on TV?
Lord Sugar has confirmed that The Apprentice 2019 will begin on BBC One on Wednesday, October 2.
Episodes will air weekly at 9PM.
Lord Sugar tweeted: “BREAKING: The Apprentice returns on Wed 2 October, 9pm @BBCOne #theapprentice @bbcapprentice”
It was Sian Gabbidon who won The Apprentice 2018 in the finale of last year’s series.
Lord Sugar picked swimwear brand owner Sian to be his business partner. She received a £250,000 business investment and 50/50 partnership with the multi-millionaire business mogul.
Sian joined a long list of winners including 2017’s double champions Sarah Lynn and James White, Alana Spencer, Mark Wright, Dr Leah Totton, Ricky Martin and Thomas Pellereau.
All of their businesses now has its £250,000 cash injection, who will be next?
Another investment will be up for grabs in 2019 with applications closing earlier this year.
Filming for the new series recently started ahead of its return to TV on BBC One, with the candidates spotted in London.
According to reports, The Apprentice 2019 will feature the BBC One show’s first ever blind contestant.
The Sun newspaper has claimed that a blind candidate is among the new set of budding entrepreneurs who will enter the boardroom this year.
However an Apprentice spokesperson refused to comment on the contestant’s identity.
“We are not able to reveal any details about the candidates until nearer the show airing later this year,” they said.
Meanwhile, earlier this year, the Celebrity Apprentice was brought back for the first time in a decade.
Comedian Omid Djalili was the unlucky star fired during the two-episode special, which raised thousands of pounds for Comic Relief.
