Britain’s Got Talent auditions – week 4

Derek Sandy

56-year-old singer and dance Derek Sandy performed his own song dedicated to the Isle Of Wight, complete with a slideshow, and got four yeses for it!

Matt Stirling

46 year old Matt Stirling from Ruislip performed a unique immersive movie themed magic trick that involved a man on fire and a group of stripping hunks.

Dave and Finn

42 year old policeman Dave from Buntingford was joined on stage by his magical dog Finn. The pair spent seven years on the force, with Finn saving Dave’s life during one incident. For their audition, Dave showcased Finn’s ‘mind-reading’ skills with a series of tricks.

Ethan Higgins

9-year-old dancer Ethan Higgins from Ireland left the stage with four yeses after wowing with his dance moves, even if he did take a swipe at David.

Rosie and Adam

Rosie, 21, and Adam, 38 from Blackpool showcased their daredevil roller-blading for the Britain’s Got Talent judges after just three months of practice. The stunning routine had all four judges on their feet and got the pair four yeses.

Sheila Callaghan

59 year old singer Sheila Callaghan from Chester got instantly buzzed by Simon Cowell as she began her original song about David Walliams. Although Simon said no, the other judges sent Sheila through to the next round.

Chucklefoot – real name Roger – is a 73-year-old singer and one-man band who performed his own original song for the judges. Simon said no – but with Amanda, Alesha and David all saying yes he went through.

Katherine and Joe

Returning after a failed audition last year, Katherine and Joe gave a performance of Frozen’s Let It Go featuring a tap dancing reindeer. Simon hated it but Amanda thought it was “genius”, saying yes together with David.

Giorgia Borg

10 year old singer Giorgia Borg from Malta wowed the judges with her original song 10. It won her a place in the live semi-finals after Alesha Dixon hit the golden buzzer for the youngster, saying: “I love everything about you, congratulations.”
