Tai and Kade Smith are both in the knockouts after the weekend’s The Voice UK’s battle rounds.
On Saturday night, Will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones, Olly Murs and Jennifer Hudson returned to the spinning red chairs.
And after seven weeks they had a change of clothes!
The battle rounds started with Tai and Kade Smith going head to head.
The pair of Team Will acts fought it out in song, performing Ben E. King’s Stand by me
Will declared Tai the winner, seeing her through to the knockout rounds on his team.
But it wasn’t the end for Kade, who had Jennifer, Olly AND Sir Tom all trying to steal him.
He chose to join Team Olly, continuing in the competition on a new team.
In the battle rounds, each of the coaches partner the acts in their teams in a set of head to head sing-offs.
Both acts will share the song but not the victory.
After each performance, their mentor will pick one winner and potentially send the other home.
The loser’s only chance to stay in the competition comes from the other coaches.
Once again The Voice sees the return of the steal twist, allowing each coach to pinch one of the acts that their rivals reject for their own teams.
However the coaches can only select the one act to steal, meaning they’re sure to be super picky with their decision.
By the end of the Battles, each team will be left with just six acts going into the Knockouts.
The Voice 2018 battle rounds continue Saturday night on ITV.
