Deep Water is the brand new drama from ITV – from the cast to the start date, here’s all you need to know.
Deep Water is described as “an emotional thriller set in England’s beautiful Lake District”.
Set against the imposing backdrop of the Lake District, Deep Water is written by BAFTA-nominated Anna Symon (Indian Summers, Mrs Wilson) and adapted from the Windermere series of novels by critically-acclaimed author, Paula Daly.
Deep Water takes a modern look at families, the pressure of juggling busy lives, and is an exploration of what it means to be a ‘perfect’ mother.
Deep Water cast
The cast of Deep Water is led by award winning actresses Anna Friel, Sinead Keenan and Rosalind Eleazar. They play three complex and vibrant women, each struggling to keep their heads above very deep water.
Anna Friel plays mother of three, Lisa Kallisto, who juggles her hectic family life with running a business, which keeps her occupied at all hours.
Sinead Keenan plays physiotherapist Roz who once had a thriving private practice, but the debts run up by her soulmate Winston leave the family facing financial ruin.
Rosalind Eleazar plays Kate Riverty who seems to have it all – wealthy and attractive and with a well-drilled and highly organised family life, but is it possible Kate is too good to be true?
