TOWIE star Lauren Goodger could become one of the next celebrities on Celebs Go Dating.
Lauren, who was one of The Only Way Is Essex’s original cast members, is said to have met up with show bosses on the E4 series.
A source spilled: “Lauren’s been for meetings at the production company that makes the show – they’re really keen to sign her up.”
The insider told Star magazine: “She makes great TV, she’s really popular and she’s been unlucky in love so far. Everyone would love to get set up with someone special.
“She’s had such bad luck with men in therapist, so the dating agency could really help her out.”
Hinting at the rumours, Lauren posted to Instagram: “When a meeting with @Channel4 the big bosses and its relaxing, kind, comfortable and intellectual just different, havent had that for Awhile”
Lauren would be far from the first TOWIE star to take part in the show, with former celebrity clients of the Celebs Go Dating agency including Joey Essex, James ‘Arg’ Argent and Bobby Norris.
And in fact, Lauren may not even be the only person from TOWIE on the next series, with Gemma Collins also rumoured for the show.
According to The Sun newspaper, Gemma also met with show bosses earlier month.
“She’d be a great addition to the show which is just getting bigger and bigger,” a source told the tabloid. “She’s certainly has had a colourful love life with her trysts with Arg the most infamous of the lot.”
Series 3 of Celebs Go Dating finished last month, with celebrities including X Factor’s Frankie Cocozza and model Calum Best.
Reality star Charlotte Dawson, TV presenter Sarah-Jane Crawford, Hollywood’s Courtney Stodden and Made In Chelsea’s Georgia Toffolo were also seen looking for love on the show.
Celebs Go Dating airs on E4.
