The Voice Kids star Lil Shan Shan releases debut single Sweet Tooth

The Voice Kids finalist Lil Shan Shan has released her debut single, Sweet Tooth.

Lil Shan Shan was one of four finalists on The Voice Kids 2019 earlier this year.

She was on Will.i.am’s team and he’s wasted no time in helping her get music out.

Lil Shan Shan has released a first single – together with a music video – called Sweet Tooth, which you can download and stream here.

The song was written and performed by Lil Shan Shan during the show and you can watch her first music video below…

Will tweeted: “#LilShanShan video is out now…

“I am so proud of you…the song you wrote #SweetTooth is awesome…and the world deserves to see your video…#CONGRATS!!!! #TheVoiceKidsUk”

Lil Shan Shan made it through to the final of The Voice Kids after originally wowing the coaches at her first audition.

The 10-year-old performed Supersonic by JJ Fad for Will, Jessie J, Pixie Lott and Danny Jones.

Lil Shan Shan has been singing since the age of 5 and her vocals got Will.i.am to turn almost as soon as she started to perform.

Danny, Pixie and Jessie all quickly followed, leaving Lil Shan Shan with a full pick of the coaches to choose from.

Making her choice, Lil Shan Shan said: “I love all of you… but I’m going with Will!”

“She has so much confidence,” Pixie said after the audition.

“She’s way beyond her years,” agreed Danny.

It was Team Danny’s Sam Wilkinson who won The Voice Kids 2019 in July.

Sam walked away with a £30,000 prize towards their musical education plus a special family holiday to Orlando courtesy of Universal Studios and Norwegian Air.

Applications for The Voice Kids 2020 are open now.

The show, alongside the adult version, will return to ITV next year.
