The Voice Kids 2019 returned tonight for its second round of blind auditions of the new series – here are all the performances.
Will.i.am, Pixie Lott and Danny Jones plus new coach Jessie J were back in their spinning red chairs tonight.
Once more hosted by Emma Willis, The Voice Kids is open to talented young soloists and duos between the ages of seven and 14.
At stake is a prize of a £30,000 bursary towards their musical education plus a dream family holiday to Orlando.
Viewers will ultimately crown the winner of The Voice Kids 2019 but the first step is winning a spot on one of the three teams at the blind auditions.
Just like in the main show, the young singers perform their chosen song to a live band – but can they get the coaches to hit their buttons?
As always, if a coach decides to press their buzzer, they’ll secure that act for their team. If more than one coach spins, it’s up to the act to decide which team to join.
Regardless of whether or not the coaches turn in the performance, they will all still spin at the end of the audition so they can give feedback and encouragement.
Here’s a recap of tonight’s second round of the blind auditions…
Lil Shan Shan
Lil Shan Shan gave a rousing performance of Supersonic by JJ Fad to open this week’s blind auditions. The 10-year-old’s cover got all four coaches to turn around and she picked Team Will to join.

Conor
13-year-old Conor from Northern Ireland took a big risk as he performed original song That Girl I Met for the coaches. Written about a girl who he fancied, Conor’s song got him a spin from Danny.
Erik
12-year-old Erik, originally from Armenia got all the coaches dancing with his cover of Saturday Night by Whigfield. While they seemed to love the performance, Unfortunately none of them pressed their buzzers for the singer.
Keira
9-year-old Keira from Dagenham got all four coaches to turn after her adorable cover of Neverland from the Broadway musical Finding Neverland. With all the coaches to choose from, Keira opted to join Team Jessie.

Sweet Harmony

Freddie M
12-year-old Freddie M from Derby declares himself as Little Mix’s biggest fan – and is even followed by Jade Thirlwall on Instagram. Performing Salute by Little Mix, Freddie gave it all with his singing and choreography but unfortunately it wasn’t quite enough to get the coaches to turn.
