A contestant on The Voice Kids 2018 wowed the coaches with his cover of a Niall Horan track this week.
And it even got the attention of the One Direction star himself.
14-year-old Harry played the guitar as he auditioned with Niall’s Too Much To Ask in Monday night’s episode.
Both Danny Jones and Will.i.am turned for the singer, with Harry deciding to join Team Danny.
You can watch his performance from the blind auditions below…
“Great job Harry,” Niall tweeted alongside a video of the performance.
During the episode, Danny had tried to call Niall as he pitched for Harry to join his team.
“I’ve worked with Niall and written with Niall. I’ve produced One Direction, you’ve got me for the long run,” said Danny.
The Voice Kids 2018 is currently airing nightly on ITV.
Alongside Will and Danny, Pixie Lott is back in the spinning red chairs for the second series.
The Voice Kids is hosted by Emma Willis and open to talented young singers between the ages of seven and 14.
For the winner is a £30,000 musical bursary plus a dream family holiday to Disneyland Paris.
Just like on the adult version, in The Voice Kids acts sing to the backs of the coaches in hopes of getting a spin.
If a coach decides to press their buzzer, they’ll secure that act for their team. Should more than one coach turn, it’ll be the kid who has the power to pick which team to join.
In the Kids’ version, even if no coach hits the buzzer at the end of the performance they will all still spin so they can give feedback and encouragement.
The Voice Kids continues nightly throughout the week on ITV.
The series continues on Tuesday night at 8PM running nightly up until the final live next Saturday night on ITV.
