The Voice Kids 2019: Ivy gets four turns after her NSYNC cover

A 12-year-old’s cover of an NSYNC classic got all four coaches to turn on The Voice Kids.

New coach Jessie J joins returning coaches, Pixie Lott and Danny Jones in the spinning red chairs for series 3 this summer.

Saturday (June 8) saw blind auditions begin for the brand new season.

One of the acts winning a spot in the next round was 12-year-old Ivy from Bromley who performed a cover of *NSYNC classic Bye Bye Bye.

Ivy got all four coaches to turn for her unique take on the hit song.

“That was better than some of the adult auditions we saw,” said new coach Jessie, who was previously on the main show.

After all four coaches made their pitches to Ivy, she decided to join Team Danny.

Once more hosted by Emma Willis, this year’s series of The Voice Kids is open to talented young soloists and, for the first time, duos – between the ages of seven and 14.

Up for grabs for the winner is the prize of a £30,000 bursary towards their musical education plus a dream family holiday to Orlando.

The public will vote for the winner of The Voice Kids in a live final later this year.

The Voice Kids 2019 airs Saturday nights on ITV.

You can watch and stream full episodes of The Voice Kids online via the ITV Hub.

Acts who make it through the audition stages will go on to compete in the battle rounds later in the series.
