The Idol UK release date and first trailer as new drama comes to Sky and NOW

A first look at The Idol has been revealed as it heads to Sky and NOW.


The new series comes from Euphoria’s Sam Levinson and The Weeknd, who also stars alongside Lily-Rose Depp.

A teaser shares: “After a nervous breakdown derailed Jocelyn’s last tour, she’s determined to claim her rightful status as the greatest and sexiest pop star in America.

“Her passions are reignited by Tedros a nightclub impresario with a sordid past. Will her romantic awakening take her to glorious new heights or the deepest and darkest depths of her soul?”

Airing on HBO in America, the drama will be available in the UK on Sky and streaming service NOW in June 2023 with an exact release date to be revealed.
