The Apprentice 2018 spoilers: First candidate revealed for new series?

The first candidate on The Apprentice 2018 may have been revealed.

The BBC One reality show is back soon for what will be its fourteenth series.

The Sun reports model and actress Sarah Byrne will be one of the contestants hoping for an investment from Lord Sugar.

The 28-year-old, who previously appeared in Channel 4’s Shameless, is said to be hoping to pitch her acting academy business.

A spokesperson for the show said: “We’re not able to reveal any of the candidates’ identities until nearer the show airing on BBC1.”

The Apprentice 2018 is expected to begin on BBC One in October.

It was Sarah Lynn AND James White who won The Apprentice 2017 in the previous final results.

The surprise outcome was a first for the show in its history, as Lord Sugar decided to invest his cash in both candidates.

In a shock twist, when faced with the decision between the two candidates, Lord Sugar decided it was a dead heat, and picked both to be his business partner. Both winners received a £250,000 business investment and 50/50 partnership with the multi-millionaire business mogul.

Meanwhile, The Apprentice was renewed by BBC One for at least three more series back in January

The show will continue on the channel until 2020 under a new three-year-deal.

The Apprentice 2018 / Series 14 will air on BBC One later this year.
