Strictly Come Dancing’s Susan Calman injured – but vows to keep dancing

Could Susan Calman be Strictly Come Dancing 2017’s dark horse?

This weekend, Susan and pro partner Kevin Clifton will be dancing the Cha Cha to South Out To My Ex by Little Mix

“The fusion of me and Little Mix is really what everyone has been waiting for,” Susan laughed.

However she then revealed on BBC Two spin-off It Takes Two: “I’ve got a slight injury to my knee, which is causing a bit of a problem.

“My ligaments in my knee are a bit of an issue. I’m going to go and sit in an ice bath.”

Despite the pain, Susan vowed: “I’ll be okay. Nothing is going to stop me dancing on Strictly. Literally nothing is going to stop me dancing on Strictly on Saturday.”

Meanwhile, the pair spoke about the possibility of Susan finally winning Strictly for Kevin.

To date, pro dancer Kevin has got to the final of EVERY Strictly series he’s danced in – but has never won.

Could Susan be the celeb to finally help him lift the glitterball?

An optimistic Kevin told It Takes Two: “Why can’t Susan get to the final? Why not?!”

Susan added to host Zoe Ball: “We’re in Strictly to have fun. It’s not about winning the competition, it’s about how fabulous you are when you’re in it. I’ve already apologised to Kevin for what may happen this year.”

Strictly Come Dancing 2017’s live shows continue this Saturday at 6:35PM on BBC One.

And the results show is on Sunday at 7.15pm on BBC One as another celebrity is sent home.
