BBC One’s new Friday night music show Sounds Like Friday Night will return in 2018.
BBC One and BBC Music have recommissioned primetime music show, Sounds Like Friday Night, for a second series.
Made by Fulwell 73, it will air next spring and broadcast from the legendary studios at TV Centre, West London.
Fronted by Radio 1’s Greg James and 1Xtra’s Dotty, the current first series has welcomed star co-hosts Demi Lovato, Dua Lipa, Craig David, Liam Payne, Paloma Faith and Jason Derulo.
Plus there have been performances from both UK and international artists, including The Killers, Plan B, Dizzee Rascal, Rita Ora, Kasabian, Sigrid, Mabel, London Grammar, Anne-Marie, Stereophonics, Royal Blood, Jessie Ware, Charlie Puth, Stefflon Don, Rag’n’Bone Man, Raye and Hurts.

Five, 30 minute episodes have been commissioned for the second series.
