Scarlett Moffatt teases Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway plans

Scarlett Moffatt has teased what’s in store for the first episode of Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.

This year the Geordie duo will once again be joined by I’m A Celebrity winner and Gogglebox star Scarlett, who first appeared on the show in 2017.

And ahead of the opening show, Scarlett has been revealing what we can expect.

“Kylie Minogue is performing on the first show,” Scarlett blabbed this week.

She told OK! Magazine: “It’s going to be fun! It’s like a big family at ITV, with Ant and Dec, and Stephen [Mulhern], hair and make up – everyone.

“Every week I learn something new. Anything can happen on live TV and so you just take it as it comes. It’s like University for TV.”

Alongside Kylie, this year’s new series of Saturday Night Takeaway will start with Olly Murs in the role of guest announcer.

The show also features a star packed blockbuster whodunit. After ‘Who Shot Simon Cowell?’ and ‘The Missing Crown Jewels’, this year will see another epic series of sketches.

Ant and Dec will be seen trying to rescue David Walliams who has been kidnapped by a mystery baddie.

Olly Murs, Katie Price and Holly Willoughby will all be involved in the sketches.

However, little Ant and Dec won’t be back on Saturday Night Takeaway this year.

The tiny duo are now a bit too big for their roles, and won’t be replaced.

DigitalSpy reports that Little Ant and Dec – real names Neil and Haydn – are instead going to focus on their school studies.

The exact start date for Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway has now been confirmed for 7PM, Saturday February 24.
