Dermot O'Leary eemays he WILL be hosting The X Factor's new Celebrity and All-Stars versions - although he doesn't know much about them.
As you should know by now, Simon Cowell is postponing the next regular series of his singing contest in favour of two spin-offs.
One will feature celebrity hopefuls, while the other will see fan-favourite former contestants return to battle for ultimate glory.
Simon is even planning on rehiring former judges to sit on the panel once more.
However, it seems he won't be going the whole hog by bringing back Kate Thornton (or even Caroline Flack and Olly Murs) to present.
Dermot confirmed to the Metro that he'll be fronting the new shows - although he's still unaware of how they'll work.
"[I'm] back this year, yes. That’s as much as I know," he said.
News of the latest shake-up did not phase Dermot.
Having been temporarily ditched in 2015, he is more aware than anyone of Simon's tendency to make changes.
"Nothing surprises me particularly because the show never rests on its laurels," he continued.
"As someone that’s been there a very long time, it takes up a great part of my year, and I have a great fondness for it. I love it.
"You see so many changes down the years, you’re never really surprised."
Mr. Saturday Night added that the X Factor producers are "pretty excited" about the latest tweaks.
While both spin-offs are due to air this autumn, ITV is keeping tight-lipped on details.
Meanwhile, Sam Bailey, Wagner and Honey G have expressed interest in competing as all-stars.
