The jungle reality show’s ITV2 sister show is looking for two new faces after Scarlett Moffatt and Joe Swash both quit.

Bosses appear to be going with their usual trick of hiring former contestants from recent series to replace them.

A recent report suggests that last year’s runner-up Emily Atack has landed a hosting role – and now another of her popular campmates is in talks to join her.

According to The Sun, ITV has offered John a spot on the Extra Camp line-up for I’m A Celeb’s upcoming nineteenth series.

The Torchwood actor finished in third place behind Emily, with chiefs apparently eager to capitalise on their “chemistry”.

“Producers loved John and Emily together last year and were looking for formats for them once they left Australia,” an insider said.

“When the chance to do Extra Camp came up ITV bosses thought it made sense.”

Assuming they both sign up, Emily and John will appear alongside comedian Joel Dommett, the only returning presenter.

“Joel can hold it together, as he’s done the show before,” the mole added. “The newbies can bring their own madness to the table.

“It’s all but a done deal.”

Since he left the I’m A Celeb camp, John has boosted his hosting CV with guest appearances on This Morning.

He has also fronted Tonight’s The Night, and Sing Your Face Off, the American version of Your Face Sounds Familiar.
