The Voice Kids 2019 concluded this weekend with its grand final – recap who won and all the performances here.

Will.i.am, Pixie Lott and Danny Jones were back in the spinning red chairs for series 3 this summer – together with new coach Jessie J.

Once more hosted by Emma Willis, The Voice Kids was open to talented young soloists between the ages of seven and 14.

Saturday night saw four finalists go head to head: 10-year-old Lil Shan Shan (Team Will), 9-year-old Keira Laver (Team Jessie), 12-year-old Gracie-Jayne Fitzgerald (Team Pixie) and 13-year-old Sam Wilkinson (Team Danny).

Up for grabs for the winner was a £30,000 bursary towards their musical education plus a dream family holiday to Orlando.

Viewers voted for their favourite and it was Team Danny’s Sam Wilkinson who won The Voice Kids 2019.

Gracie-Jayne (Team Pixie)

Up first, Gracie-Jayne started the live finals with her solo song, Feeling Good by Nina Simone.

 

For her duet with coach Pixie Lott, Gracie-Jayne performed River Deep, Mountain High by Ike & Tina Turner.

Lil Shan Shan (Team Will)

After making the live final with an original song, Lil Shan Shan also performed an original rap in the live final, called Sweet Tooth.

 

For their duet, Will.i.am and Lil Shan Shan teamed up for a performance of Pump It by The Black Eyed Peas.

 

Keira (Team Jessie)

For her solo song, Kiera had mentor Jessie J in tears with a cover of Can You Feel The Love Tonight from The Lion King.

 

Jessie J and Keira went on to duet together, singing When You Believe by Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston.

Sam (Team Danny)

For his solo performance, Sam reprised his original song Everything’s Alright that he first performed in his blind audition.

 

Duetting with mentor Danny Jones, Sam performed Hey Jude by The Beatles.

 

The Voice Kids coaches performance

Before the acts performed, opening the show was a group performance from the coaches. Will.i.am, Pixie Lott, Danny Jones and Jessie J, bringing Stevie Wonder & Ariana Grande’s hit song ‘Faith’ to the Voice Kids stage.
