Olly Murs says he’d like to find love on The Voice UK.
The former X Factor finalist is a coach on the singing show, which will return in 2019.
And Olly has suggested he could end up falling for a contestant on the series – even if it gets him sacked.
Single Olly told the Daily Mirror that his love life, or lack thereof, has become a “running joke” backstage.
“Spinning these chairs could be the only way I ever could find love. It’s like speed dating. I only get to hear their voice so it would be love at first sight,” Olly, who is currently filming the show, told the tabloid.
He added: “I don’t think I’m allowed to date contestants though. I think I would be sacked. But you never know. Crazier things have happened.
“It would be amazing if I did find love on The Voice.”
Olly confirmed earlier this year he’d be back in the spinning red chairs with Will.i.am, Jennifer Hudson and Sir Tom Jones.
Olly said: “Now I’ve got one season under my belt, I can’t wait to see what my second season has in store for me. Last year I managed to get seduced and picked some entertaining performers. The other coaches might think they have worked me out but I’m coming back with a bang, just you wait!”
Emma Willis will also return to host.
She added: “I’m so happy we’re about to get going all over again. I’ve learnt to expect the unexpected with performances, some make me wanna bust a move, some give me goosebumps, and some make me cry like a baby! No day is the same, I’m forever wondering ‘where have YOU been?’ and with trios signing up this year, it gives us an added layer.”
The Voice UK will be back on ITV in 2019.
