All of the Married At First Sight have now divorced

Where are the Married At First Sight couples now?

All of the couples from Married At First Sight have now split up, it’s been revealed.

The latest series of the UK version, which airs on Channel 4, finished earlier this month.

At the end of it, one couple – Ben and Stephanie – remained together.

But now even they’ve announced that it’s all over.

Speaking on Fubar Radio (via the Daily Mirror), Ben revealed: “Stephanie and I are still friends but I couldn’t give her what she wanted and what she needed, and time is of the essence. And why waste someone’s time if it’s not there?’

“It killed me. After the end of the show we were giving it a go, but as my mum said, you don’t know someone until you’ve lived with them.”.

“She’s a lovely girl and I’m still friends with her but I couldn’t give her what she needed, or what she wanted,” he added, saying Stephanie was left “gutted” by the break up.

Married At First Sight sees total strangers getting married before being followed around for their first six weeks together.

At the end of the ‘experiment’, they have the choice of whether to stay together or get divorced.

Chosen from an initial pool of thousands of applicants, individuals each seeking long-term love were invited to be assessed by a panel of experts in the fields of psychology, social & evolutionary anthropology and theology.

Once matched by the experts the highly compatible couples go forward to enter into a legally-binding marriage with a complete stranger – only meeting for the very first time at their own wedding where they’ll declare ‘I do’.

While there hasn’t been any success in making a long-lasting relationship yet, another series is in the works.

To apply, you must be over 18, have never been married before and have no children.
