Magician Keiichi Iwasaki gets Britain’s Got Talent golden buzzer after incredible tricks

How did he do that?!

A magician mesmerised the Britain’s Got Talent judges this weekend – and won the latest golden buzzer of the series.

Britain’s Got Talent’s new series continued on Saturday night on ITV.

Ant & Dec return to the sidelines for the latest series, ready to cheer and console performers as they prepare to face the panel.

2022’s judges are Amanda Holden, David Walliams, Simon Cowell and Alesha Dixon.

One act looking to impress them this weekend was Keiichi Iwasaki who got Alesha up on stage to show there’s more than one way to put a ring on someone’s finger.

The 49-year-old from Japan also played a card trick on Ant & Dec in an audition that went down a storm.

Amanda said: “I loved it. You are funny, you are quirky, you are very charming and your magic was excellent.”

David agreed: “You’re the funniest person we’ve seen and the most magical person we’ve seen all combined in one.”

Simon said: “You’re an absolute natural. People are going to like you so much. My son is going to love you. You’re one of the best we’ve seen so far.”

And Alesha concluded: “You’re a superstar.”

As the judges were about to give Keiichi a yes, Ant & Dec rushed down to the desk to hit the golden buzzer.

“He is brilliant” the pair said.

With Ant & Dec’s golden buzzer, Keiichi goes straight through to the live shows.

He joins the other 2022 golden buzzer acts: Amanda’s choice is singer Loren Allred, Simon’s pick is comedian Axel Blake and David hit the button for dance group Born To Perform.

Alesha’s golden buzzer is still to be revealed.

Other contestants on this weekend’s episode include 8-year-old Jessica Brodin, who had the judges in disbelief with some incredible impressions.

Meanwhile, The Frontline Singers brought hope and unity to the stage with an original song.

Britain’s Got Talent continues Saturday nights at 8PM on ITV.
