Love Island USA continued tonight on ITV2 with the results of the viewer vote.
Earlier this week, the Islanders received a text which read: “Islanders. Get ready to light up the strip because tonight you will be having a neon-themed party! #GlowUp #SparksWillFly”
However they got a shock when host Arielle made a surprise entrance.
She announced: “Islanders. I’m sure you’re all wondering why I am here. I have some very important news. America has been voting for who they think is the most compatible couple. The Islanders in the bottom three couples risk being dumped from the island tonight.”
Arielle then revealed the couples who received the most votes until three couples remained: Connor & Mackenzie, Kierstan & Carrington, and Lauren & Tre
The safe couples then had to save one couple, choosing Connor & Mackenzie.
Of the remaining two at risk couples, the safe boys had to decide which girl to dump, choosing Lauren, and the safe girls had to pick which guy to dump, picking Tre.
As a result, Tre and Lauren become the latest to leave the villa.
Love Island USA airs at 9PM on ITV2 in the UK nightly.
Elsewhere in the latest episode, after the elimination, the Islanders saw their relationships put to the test in game ‘Tie The Knot’.
Competing as married couples, the Islanders were shackled together and had to climb through an obstacle course in the quickest time.
The winners then competed in one final game where they had to find giant rings hidden in wedding cakes, using only their mouth.
Back at the Villa, the challenge had got everyone talking about marriage.
As the girls all gathered by the pool to discuss their hopes, the boys also opened up about their thoughts on walking down the aisle, with Calvin admitting that he would only consider popping the question after “four seasons and a road trip.”
With the Villa about to be split and their relationships put to the ultimate test, which couples will survive being apart and will any be tempted by the new Islanders who are about to arrive in paradise?
