Love Island 2018 spoilers: Alexandra Cane and Laura Anderson both eye up Paul Knops

Alexandra Cane and Laura Anderson both set their sights on new boy Paul Knops in Love Island 2018 tonight.

In this evening’s episode, Alexandra and Laura are chatting after their relationships have dwindled.

Alexandra says of her situation with Alex: “I just had such a weird feeling all day yesterday so I spoke to him and said ‘I like you’ and he said he just wanted to keep things open and wanted to get to know the new girls, in particular new Laura.

“For me, that says to me you’re not really that interested. I’m not going to force somebody to like me. At the same time, I just don’t want to be an option. As lovely as he is, I just thought, I don’t need to be sat here feeling sorry for myself because someone isn’t interested.”

Old Laura says of her and new Jack’s situation: “Let’s just have no regrets and have fun. We can stick together and it’ll be fine.”

Later, Paul and old Laura are getting to know each other by the pool.

In the Beach Hut, Laura says: “I feel like there is so much to talk about with Paul. I could sit there all day and chat to him. He is really interesting. He is a lot more like me that Jack was.”

In the Beach Hut, Paul adds: “Laura is a very easy person to talk to. I can tell she has a good sense of humour and that’s one of the most important things a girl can have… The more I talk to her the more I am attracted to her. She is a good looking girl and I can definitely see something happening with her.”

Meanwhile, Alexandra and Alex have a chat on the swing seat.

She says: “I guess today I have to be honest and say, I don’t want to be an option. I want someone to feel sure about something.”

Alex says: “It’s not about being an option. It’s ‘am I ready to be exclusive with you’ and I’m not. And I really am surprised that you would be ready to be exclusive with me.”

Alexandra says: “I’m not saying I would. Yesterday I felt such a bad vibe, I just needed a bit of reassurance.”

Alex says: “I think what we should do is take a step back from everything. Reasses.”

Later that night, Paul pulls old Laura aside for a one-on-one chat.

Laura tells him: “I feel like you’re really interesting, I feel like I could chat to you all day.”

Paul tells her: “It’s a likewise thing. You are definitely someone who is compatible with me.”

Laura says: “I know I could speak to you about anything but you are still flirty which is nice.”

Meanwhile Alexandra looks over at their conversation and admits she has also taken a shine to Paul. She tells Kaz: “I can’t take my eyes off him… That’s what makes it really hard. The problem now is I’m worried because there’s other interest.”

Later, Alexandra and Paul have a chat of their own on the roof terrace.

He tells her: “Typically, my type is dark, Mediterranean, someone who is exotic and curvy. If you look at the girls that I’ve previously dated, that is it.”

“Good to know,” she smiles.

In the Beach Hut, Alexandra says: “This place moves so fast, I felt like I had to tell him how I feel because what have I got to lose?”

She tells him: “Putting my cards on the table, I didn’t realise I’d fancy you as much as I do. I don’t want to see you with somebody else.”

He says: “I’m loving getting to know you, it’s nice. We do have a lot in common. What I do love about you is you have such a calm aura around you and it’s really nice and it’s attractive.”

She tells him: “I’d love to kiss you…”
