Loki season two is on its way to Disney+ in the UK – here’s all you need to know!

The new series from Marvel Studios features Loki as he steps out of his brother’s shadow.

Taking place after the events of Avengers: Endgame, Loki follows the God of Mischief as he lands in a world of trouble with the bureaucratic TVA (Time Variance Authority) after absconding with the Tesseract.

When is Loki released on Disney+?

The second season of Loki is currently scheduled to be released on 6 October 2023.

Six new episodes will be added to the streaming service weekly at 8AM UK time.

Season two will pick up from the ending of the first season which debuted in 2021.

Tom Hiddleston returns as the title character, joined by Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant.

Further cast of Loki includes Sasha Lane, Erika Coleman, Eugene Cordero and the voice of Tara Strong.

Disney+ is the dedicated streaming home for movies and shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic, as well as the new general entertainment content brand Star.

Alongside Loki, more Marvel Studios’ series currently streaming on Disney+ include The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and WandaVision.

Meanwhile another Marvel series has confirmed its release date on Disney+ with Echo coming to the streaming service from 29 November. The series tells the origin story of Maya Lopez, whose ruthless behaviour in New York City catches up with her in her hometown.
